Lokust’s first international album and an upcoming September show! The Sideshows Manuscript The Lost Pages!

The first international album from Lokust was teased and now it’s finally here! The Sideshows Manuscript Lost Pages is global!

This album features the recent hit single “Past Trauma”, which we covered not too long ago. It’s the crown jewel, the song that encompasses the album as a whole, but in order to get full context of what it’s all about, you gotta know Lokust. And to know him better, this album is a perfect window into his mind and soul. You can check out both the single and the album down below.

Past Trauma is a mellow head-nodder with a serious message, much like the recently released Coping Mechanism. “My biggest enemy would truly be my mind”, Lokust chooses to let the listener in to the pain that his past relationships have left him to deal with. And now we can see the full extent with The Lost Pages! Fans of Lokust Luciano may already know his successful two part album, The Sideshows Manuscript. These are compilations that showcase the best that the Kingpin has to offer! There’s some good news on the way for people who enjoyed those albums… The Sideshows Manuscript: The Lost Pages is OUT NOW! Check it out down below fam!

This album features both introspective emotional tracks like Past Trauma alongside party blappers like Hella Hella! It’s also got some tracks that mix both like 90s Degenerate, which you can cruise along to, but the lyrics will hit hard, especially if you’re from the generation and circumstances that Lokust is addressing. And the quality doesn’t stop there! The whole album is bangin’ and thoughtful, and will make you party just as hard as it makes you feel. It’s the perfect capstone to the other two Sideshows albums!

And would you believe it? Lokust STILL isn’t done yet! Whether it be future plans or current adventures, he’s on that grind and we’re here for it.

And this teaser has us excited! The new release has some funny and explicit lines that we’re sure you’re gonna love. We’ll be right on getting the word out once this drops officially… and the entire crew is there too, kickass!

And there’s even tours in the works! Spokane, brace yourselves, it’s gonna get lit later in the year. You hear me? Book them Lokust tickets for September this year and get ready for the ride of your life!

But if you’re curious, who is this self-proclaimed 90s degenerate anyway? Lokust Luciano was born William Arciszewski on June 21st, 1988 as a premature baby, and diagnosed with Cerebral Palsy. He grew up in North Fort Myers and began writing poetry at the tender age of 9 years old. He is the first rapper with Cerebral Palsy, and has been active in multiple facets of the Hip-Hop scene since 1998. He moved to Florida for leg surgery when he was very young, as the medical world at the time (1988) didn’t have a solid understanding of Cerebral Palsy yet, so he had to seek out an expert specialist. Orlando was the only place he could go for it, and he came out on the other side grinning. He is well known in the underground music scene for his production talent and lyrical delivery. He is also sometimes known by the handle “Crippled Kingpin”.

The adversities he has overcome are now a part of his personal aesthetic, showing his strength and sturdy sense of humour. His creative drive is unstoppable, and we’re sure you’ll agree when you see some of the hits from his catalogue that have been turning heads his way! We’ll see you there, and until next time, do what we’re planning to do… keep your ear to the ground for some spicy new releases from the Kingpin himself!

A remix ever-blossoming! Jack Parry’s Suga Boom Boom doing well!

From cocky bangers talking smack like “No L’s” to introspective sad pieces like “Long Road Ahead”, DL Down3r has proven many times over that he’s the king, and that whatever he attempts, he does with the utmost care and love that will bring each of his hits to success, no matter what form they take! His most iconic track Suga Boom Boom is definitely no exception. With DL’s level of versatility and talent, Suga Boom Boom is absolutely prime territory for not only chart topping, but remixes. And indeed, it’s had quite a few in the past! One standout remix we want to take another look at today is the PlayMPE chart topping Suga Boom Boom remix from Jack Parry!

We recently published a story on Jack Parry’s father Gavin Parry, so we thought we should report that the apple hasn’t fallen far from the tree. This iconic remix features the intoxicating vocals of DL Down3r’s original that will help you chill and vibe in a whole new way. You can listen to it down below!

It’s no wonder that DL Down3r’s work is so suited to new interpretations like this one, whether they be from his own hand, or from the community his music has fostered. He’s that damn adaptable! But to say the least, one particular remix stands out. And what a whopper of a remix it is! It was overseen by Jack Parry, mixed/mastered by Tom Polce and Chris Garcia, pre-produced by Gabe Rizza, and produced by Damien Reilly. Jack’s unique vision has really helped bring the track to life in a wholly different way, and we’re absolutely here for it. The team has worked hard on adding another feather to Down3r’s cap, and you can see that effort shining clearly through the mesmerising hooks and beats of the timeless banger. Jack Parry’s vision in particular was strong with this new direction, causing the old reliable earworm to inherit a new life along with the remix’s cheerful aesthetic. The plays on this track are at 90K on Spotify and they’re gonna keep climbing! The track has also lent a special kind of magic to our recent ventures into our “mashup” videos! You can check out some of those down below.

The original Suga Boom Boom is a melancholy head-nodder, letting you into DL’s vulnerable side with a metaphorical discussion of his experience with illegal drugs. But this particular track adds another element that isn’t typically seen in remixes and covers of this track that tend to take it in a new direction: it remains relaxing. This identity of the track synergised well with the original, for while it was melancholy, it also had a bit of zing to it. It’s impressive to see a remix that is both chill and relaxing, and retains the spicy energy of the original, while keeping it distinct and different from the original – and that is exactly what the Jack Parry remix accomplished. The results speak for themselves, and we wanna congratulate Jack for the successful direction he took this in! When you hear the rest of his catalogue, it’s a given that this remix turned out as well as it did.

Through fierce and funky west coast rap, Down3r shares his prolific work with the rest of the world, and the stage with west coast rap legends such as Coolio, Brown Boy, Jay Tablet, Lil Young, Snoopyblue, Baby Bash, Steel City Hustlers, King Z and DJ Kane to name a few. From powerful messages, lyrical poetry and sharp comments on society, to G-funk and Trap/EDM hype songs, he proves that age and experience is the opposite of a liability in today’s rap game. Suga Boom Boom is the flagship song of his talented repertoire! This remix and the original are both out now on all major online retailers and streaming services, so get ready to buy a new pair of speakers!

Suzanna Lubrano has become a household name in certain circles. If you’ve attended her recent string of live shows or seen the adventures on her Instagram, you’d probably get an impression that would stick in your head for weeks to come! Well we’re bringing news that will help flesh out that impression even further, and maybe even cause uncertain viewers to realise that she could be one of the coolest artists in recent memory!

In late 2021, Suzanna released Africa Arise, a story to all the African brothers and sisters across the world, talking about the glorious culture they come from, and how deep their roots travel. Well, that track now has a brand new music video to go with it! Check it out down the bottom of the page.

This one is definitely some classic energetic Suzanna. The beat will get you up off your feet in seconds, the rhythm infecting your body and making you dance like you never thought possible! So don’t deny it… shake it! The dancers in the video certainly have the right idea about that, and they’re as authentic as you could possibly hope. The raw talent and enthusiasm they exude is hypnotic, and you can’t help but want to join them! Scientists theorise that before we could talk, we would sing. This is because emotions are easily communicated through rhythm, and of course, dance would play a large factor in that. So when you see Suzanna and her party crew living it up in this vid, it really helps put you in the moment with them, and we love it! Get this music video out to all your friends, especially those of African descent, and expand the party as far as it can go! No matter who you are, you can find a rhythm to dance to in this stunning single.

But in case you’ve been living under a rock, you might be wondering who Suzanna is in the first place.

Through the power of streaming we can answer that – and so can you! Introduce a friend into the craze today via Suzanna’s Spotify profiles! That’s the next best thing after a fresh new music vid. Suzanna has been putting a ton of hard work and soul into her catalogue over the years, and it shows. Lokust isn’t done yet! Past Trauma, his new evocative single!

Fans of Lokust Luciano may know his successful two part album, The Sideshows Manuscript. These are compilations that showcase the best that the Kingpin has to offer! There’s some good news on the way for people who enjoyed those albums… The Sideshows Manuscript: The Lost Pages is OUT NOW! But we’re gonna cover that in-depth soon. For now, here’s a track from the album that was released as a single. It’s the crown jewel, the song that encompasses the album as a whole, so the next logical step is to elevate the track to where it deserves to be! That track is Past Trauma.

This is a mellow head-nodder with a serious message, much like the recently released Coping Mechanism. “My biggest enemy would truly be my mind”, Lokust chooses to let the listener in to the pain that his past relationships have left him to deal with. Domestic violence and abuse is a hot topic right now, especially with the Depp v Heard case recently coming to a close, so Lokust Luciano opening up about the events that gave him this trauma is a refreshing continuation of this honesty. These lyrics cut deep and make you think hard about the loved ones in your life, and whether you’re experiencing the affection you deserve. Lokust survived his ordeal because he knew he deserved better, but he carried his past traumas with him. Sometimes, you can’t forget when something has happened to you, but you can just accept that it has and move on. That’s what Lokust has done in this song, and although it still hurts, he’s living his best life now, which is what counts for the most. Respect to Mr. Luciano and his fire new single!

Next time, we’ll be going into the album that Past Trauma came from, we can’t wait for more tracks of this quality!

Coping Mechanism – the harsh look inside the struggle of Lokust and Down3r!

Lokust Luciano and DL Down3r have become closer and closer as time has gone on, and to cement this, they’re bringing us a hot new single! Presenting COPING MECHANISM!

This is a frank introspective piece, giving us all candid insight into what Lokust and Down3r have gone through. The song’s format manifests as Lokust telling the listener about his struggles with drug abuse, and the excuses he gives himself and others in order to continue using drugs as a crutch. Then DL comes in, and effectively sits Lokust down to have a serious conversation about the dark path he’s going down, from one friend to another, from one victim of drug abuse to another. The message of the song is clear: the problems that can be found in life are worth facing directly, when the alternative is avoiding them via drug abuse. Avoiding one’s problems through drug abuse is far worse than just facing them. It simply adds to the problems you’ll have to eventually work through or die trying, once the illusion is broken and it all comes crashing down. DL is known for songs like this, so it’s great to see Lokust teaming up and pitching in for this one too. This duo is making waves, and we’re looking forward to whatever they bring out next, whether it be a sombre song like this one, or a classic party anthem banger. But if you’re out of the loop, who are these guys?

And of course there’s DL Down3r, the mastermind behind Suga Boom Boom, which the lyrics of Coping Mechanism about “chasing dragons” are a reference to. Through fierce and funky west coast rap, DL Down3r shares his prolific work with the rest of the world, and the stage with west coast rap legends such as Coolio, Brown Boy, Jay Tablet, Lil Young, Snoopyblue, LadyDice, Baby Bash, Steel City Hustlers, King Z and DJ Kane to name a few.

From powerful messages, lyrical poetry and sharp comments on society, to G-funk and Trap/EDM hype songs, he proves that age and experience is the opposite of a liability in today’s rap game. Blast it loud, get ready to feel something, and rest assured knowing that hip hop never died!

Congrats to Gavin Parry and Take Two! 2 Million Plays on TikTok!

While browsing The Music Network, we saw a headline that got us excited! Take Two, a band managed by our good friend Gavin Parry, has found a name for themselves on Tik Tok! Check it out in the album right here!

How Sydney’s Take Two Captured 2M TikTok Followers With Tunes and Storytelling

As article writer Lars Brandle says, “TikTok comes easy for some”. The lads from Take Two are taking TikTok by storm, with ” 2.1 million followers on TikTok, moving them into the Top 30 Australian creators and Top 10 Australian musicians on the short-video streaming platform.” They made the most of the 2020 lockdowns just as many others did, including us. They got the world’s attention during this strange time, and they exploded on TikTok with their videos focusing on music! We’re wondering if some secret industry insight was handed down by Gavin Parry, manager of the band since 2020… it lines up pretty well. And considering the future plans that Take Two has for their latest release Yeah Whatever, we can expect plenty more TikTok presence from the duo.

Gavin reckons this album is gonna be a breakout hit with the way it’s been going. He has faith in the decade of experience that the duo possesses, and we have faith in Gavin’s own wealth of experience! The lads have their road map planned out months and months in advance, and it’s great to see masterful hands drive the project to fruition like this.

You may know Gavin Parry from his spearheading work managing Fairphonic, and the collaboration between his company and our partner company Ordior, as well as the happy occasion that was Gavin joining Fairphonic as its chairman last year. You may also remember him from a Wolfmother escapade that we and Ordior shared in, in the recent past. Or perhaps you recognise the name Parry from his son Jack Parry, and his work on the incredible remixes of DL Down3r’s Suga Boom Boom. Either way, the Parry family are true movers and shakers of the music industry, and these results show that in full scope. We extend our congratulations to Gavin and Take Two, and wish them all the best for the future! We’ll be keeping an eye on their TikTok, and we can’t wait to see what happens next in the story… and we’re very excited to see more collaborations between Fairphonic and Ordior!

Until then, check out this media below for more on Jack Parry and Take Two!

Meet Avery May Parker and Key Loch!

Today we’re looking at Key Loch once again, as well as the band’s debut singer! For any newcomers, we figured that a formal introduction was long overdue. The world knows her from her exploits with Key Loch, they’ve seen her take the Planet Blue Pictures Youtube by storm with her Sync Pitches, now it’s time for everyone to give a warm welcome to Avery May Parker, the original Key Loch vocalist and one of the most well-known members of the group to date! Avery has provided leading vocals on the band’s debut hit Where Is The Love and their followup Come Home To Me, and has also provided backing vocals on Another Bad Day and Out There.

Her time with the band has been special and memorable, and she’s also demonstrated her other abilities with the Sync Pitches she’s created for Blue Pie and DJ Central! She spearheaded the effort with her team and the results are fantastic. Straight from our Film Production Partners and License Team, these Sync Concepts show off the very best of our music, paired with footage montages that demonstrate just what kind of moods the songs could pair with!

When she’s not performing as a music artist, Avery works full-time to create the series that we call “Mashups”, and as you can see from the results on our partner channel of Planet Blue, the videos and their quality speak for themselves. We can also expect plenty more sweet vids in the future, on specific topics, Sync Concepts, and artists in general! That’s because Avery is a full-time employee here, working on vids such as these! But the lead singer of the band is one thing, and the band itself is another! Just who are Key Loch?

The main duo of Key Loch are Damien Reilly and Justin Gross. They are the founders of the 90’s power Aussie Rock Band Southpaw. They bring together a production history between them of 50 years of song writing and playing live music in Australia, and work together with the likes of Gabe Rizza and Sahra, as well as Avery of course. Her vocals and lyrical artistry are one of the key ingredients that give the band the unique identity that they have. Just listen to their greatest hits and try NOT to feel something! The passion in every song will prove quite the adversary to that end…

Key Loch and Avery have both seen impressive levels of success with their work in the streaming sphere. Fans of their music will be pleased to hear that our next story will be on the fact that Key Loch now has over 1M streams on Spotify, and over 2M on across YouTube Deezer Amazon and Apple Music! But more on that later… suffice it to say that Avery and Key Loch know what they’re doing, and people are loving the results! See for yourself!

The future is bright and Key Loch are wearing shades as they unlock the musical doors of your mind and fill it full of awesome music. This is the beginning of something amazing and the world can never have enough of GREAT tunes. And with Avery as one of their greatest performers moving forward, this team is proving to be truly unstoppable. The best of Key Loch can be found in Avery’s contributions to it, whether they be vocal or behind the scenes… but as an artist alone, she’s phenomenal! And as a group, the synergy is fire. Just listen to that mo-town talent and get ready to sway.

The second quarter of 2022 is well underway now, and Suzanna continues to make the year her own in the best way she can just as we predicted she would, with awesome tours just like this one that showcase her performer’s ability. After all, it’s one thing to perfect your craft in a studio, but doing it live relies on your endurance and ability to acclimate to changing circumstances. Suzanna pulls it off effortlessly, and the result is a magical series of shows that nobody will forget any time soon.

Suzanna is a firecracker that’s hard to keep track of, she rapidly moves from project to project, show to show, always keeping the world guessing as much as she keeps them partying down. We’re keeping our eyes out on her Instagram now so we can catch the next show. Hopefully we can see you there and happily burn the midnight oil with other superfans of this killer performer!

But in case you’ve been living under a rock, you might be wondering who Suzanna is in the first place.
