Key Loch hit the surf with SLOP WITH CHOPPERS!
November 21 2022
Just in time for the end-of-year summer, Australian indie band Key Loch have got some special surf rock sounds going on with this release. Synths mimic the gentle sound of distant waves as the guitars meld with the melody, putting the listener right there on the water as the surf sprays around them. Choppy waves? No issue. The bravado in the guitar will have you hitting the waves, slip slop slapping on your sunscreen, and plunging into the ocean for a grand day out at the beach.
People seem to be agreeing with that sentiment too, especially considering that at the time of writing, the music video has 50,793 views! See for yourself: it’s a wild day in the sun for Key Loch with this one, and the stats on Spotify and other similar streaming/purchase platforms aren’t far behind when you group them together into a collective! Check out the video and Spotify players down below.
This track has been doing the rounds for a while, so we figured with the weather warming up in Key Loch’s native country of Australia, now is the perfect time for an extra bright sunny spotlight to be shone on Slop with Choppers! We hope this will help your days out on the sand and water feel all the more liberating. Now let’s blast this loud and hit the beach!
