The signal is loud. The momentum is real. And the world is now listening.
Independent artist Lieutenant Grey, alongside the haunting and cinematic vocals of Rugile Sleiniute, is officially making waves across the international radio scene with their breakout single “Castle” — a record now carving out a serious footprint on the global independent charts.
Released through Soul Shift Music, “Castle” has evolved from an atmospheric studio masterpiece into a verified international radio success story, landing firmly on the DRT Global Top 100 Independent Airplay Chart and continuing to hold its ground against some of the largest independent promotional campaigns in the world.
The track is currently charting at #93 globally, after an explosive breakout run that saw the single debut at #88 before surging over 30 positions to a peak chart position of #58 worldwide.
That kind of movement does not happen by accident.
It happens when a song connects emotionally.
And “Castle” is connecting.
With its cinematic production, dark emotional atmosphere, and unforgettable vocal chemistry between Lieutenant Grey and Rugile Sleiniute, the track has become a standout across independent radio networks and tastemaker stations globally.
Breaking into the DRT Global Top 100 is a significant achievement for any independent artist. The chart is heavily competitive and crowded with “major-indie” campaigns often backed by multi-million-dollar marketing budgets and international radio promotion teams.
Yet “Castle” broke through the noise.
And it stayed there.
The single has now maintained multiple consecutive chart positions including #58, #60, #63, and #93 — proving the track has genuine staying power and audience retention far beyond a one-week spike.
To celebrate the achievement, official commemorative award plaques have now been commissioned honoring the success of both Lieutenant Grey and Soul Shift Music.
These premium glass-encased awards, featuring handcrafted Italian wood borders, represent more than just chart positions.
They represent resilience.
Vision.
Persistence.
And belief in independent artistry.
Behind the scenes, this milestone was powered by a coordinated global effort from the Soul Shift Music team.
Major recognition goes to Robert Simmons for his marketing leadership and strategic vision in helping drive the campaign internationally. Special thanks also go to Tishawn Ford, Head of Marketing and Promotions, whose dedicated social media execution and focused eight-week campaign strategy helped amplify the track across global digital channels.
Additional appreciation goes to Michael Matthews at Digital Radio Tracker for his continued support and verification of the campaign’s global chart success.
The results speak for themselves. “Castle” is no longer simply a release. It has become a movement.
And with the momentum still building, Soul Shift Music is now focused firmly on the next phase of expansion — growing global audiences, increasing streaming penetration, securing new media opportunities, and continuing the climb through the international radio ecosystem.
One thing is now very clear:
Lieutenant Grey is no longer emerging. The castle gates are open…and the world has entered.
